'Books & Coziness' collection - Inspiration

Stationery products are so versatile and they can be used for numerous purposes. Decorating postcards and letters, mail art, journal spreads, scrapbooking, card making... But not only for snail mail and journaling purposes. Did you know you can even decorate a bicycle with washi tapes? Or candles, boxes, furniture... You can also use stickers to decorate laptops, tablet and phone cases, lugage and suitcases...

That's why I created this section on the blog, let's call it 'Inspiration'. In this section you will be able to see how people use certain products for their crafts. How from a few supplies they create beautiful mail art and journal spreads.

It's the turn of the 'Books & Coziness' collection, a collection that invites us to make a hot cup of coffe or tea, grab a few buscuits, and spend the evening reading and transporting our minds to other places. Keep scrolling down to discover all the beautiful entries and inspire yourself to create! You can click on the images to visit their Instagram accounts.

@curatedmonotony

Nadia from @curatedmonotony used the 'Books' Wax Seal, the 'Vintage Books' Washi Tape and part from one of the Bookmarks to decorate this beautiful postcard. Had you ever thought about using wax seals as part of a postcard decoration? Well, here you have! They are not only usable to close envelopes.

@journal.to.go

Maaike from @journal.to.go created this journal spread with the 'Cozy Drinks' and 'Read' Sticker Sheets. The way she combined lettering, with pictures, stickers, washi tapes and notes is stunning! These stickers perfectly match the yummy cinnamon rolls, pastries and coffees she had! Gosh, now I'm hungry, aren't you?

@_honeypeaches

Bruce from @_honeypeaches created this envelope to mail a letter with the 'Literature' Sticker Sheet and the 'Bookshelf' Washi Tape. Also pictured are the 'Bookshelf' Sticker Sheet and the 'Books' Vinyl Sticker. Here you can see that by combining a few elements and supplies you can create a cozy envelope to make your mail stand out!

@juliatravelstheworld

Julia from @juliatravelstheworld created this journal spread cover for March using all sorts of products like washi tapes, stickers, postcards, and even the letter pad. 'Books & Coziness' is a very versatile collection that can be used all year long.

@journalsandflowers

Monica from @journalsandflowers also used the 'Books & Coziness' collection for her bullet journal March cover and spreads. Bullet Journaling is often seen as something time consuming and that needs drawing skills. But that couldn't be farther from the truth if you use supplies like stickers and washi tapes and let your creativity flow.

@vanessa.penpal

Vanessa from @vanessa.penpal used the 'Read' Postcard and the 'Bookshelf' Washi Tape to create this amazing flipbook. Mail art has so many forms and flipbooks or folders with pockets are a very popular one.

That's everything for today! Next 'Inspiration' post will be based on the 'Spring' and 'Easter' collections. You can start making your creations and sending your pictures and Instagram names by email to penpalingpaula@gmail.com before April 1st for a chance to get featured in the blog.

I hope this post brought out the creative soul you carry inside and you are heading now to your desk to enjoy a cozy and crafty afternoon.

Love,
